Sometimes when we have free time we play Packman or handball. The best and fairest player was William I liked it when William had a game all by himself
We all had a good time!!
Every Friday the tennis people go to Smith's Tennis Centre to learn how to play tennis. We were divided into two groups. Aileen, Vanessa, Sussan, Danielle, some boys and I are in one group and everyone else is in the other group. Our coach is Craig.
At first we were allowed to buy lollies but we aren't anymore. Craig divided our group into two groups, the girls in one and the boys in another. One group gets to play while the other learn, then we swap over.
The supervising teacher is Mrs McNaughtan. We have a great time at tennis every week.
In the winter we get to do winter sports on Friday afternoons. There were three sports to choose, Footy for boys and some girls, tennis for boys and girls or Netball for just girls, so I choose tennis.
We travel by bus for five minutes to the tennis court called Smith‘s Tennis Centre at Curl Curl. The Tennis Court at Smith‘s Tennis Centre is artificial grass.
The first very thing we do is practise is our backhand, forehand then serving. We also have competitions with each other and I mostly win all the time.
When it is finished the bus picks us up first at 2:45pm then picks
up the netballers then last was the footballers. When we get back to school
its 3:00. The best people at tennis are Zane, Jerry and myself.
