Every Friday the students from Years 3-6 get to sport. The sports we can choose from are Netball, Rugby League and Tennis. We travel there by bus. The bus leaves at 12:30 p.m. The Netball games are held at John Fisher Park at Curl Curl.

Our coaches are Miss Gray and Miss Keys. My favourite positions are Goal Attack and Goal Shooter. I think that the whole team are fair to each other.

We have three Netball teams. The first team are the Seniors and the next teams are Junior A and Junior B. The first Friday the Junior A's played Narraweena and we lost, the next Friday we played Cromer and we lost again then the third Friday which was last week we played Dee Why and lost again. Even though we lost still played well.

The bus picks us up around 2:00p.m. Each of the Netball games take for about half an hour. When we arrive at the courts we find the court that we are playing on and we eat out lunch there.

Even though the Juniors loose they still try hard!!!

There are three netball teams at school, Junior A, Junior B as well as one Senior team. Netball is like basketball but you can't run with the ball. It is only for girls.

Unfortunately Junior A and B teams only just started and they haven't won a game yet but there getting better every time. The senior team have won one and lost two.

There are 7 people in a game Goal Shooter, Goal Attack, Wing Attack, Centre, Goal Keeper, Goal Defence and Wing Defence. I like playing Goal Shooter and Goal Attack.

The senior team is in A grade and we might loose but we know we did our best.

I play on a Saturday. I play for the Comets, we have won them all but one game.

Netball is great!

On Fridays our school has P.S.S.A sport and one of the sports that girl can play is Netball. P.S.S.A sport is when all different schools go to a place, like the netball girls go to John Fisher Park and compete against other schools but it isn't a really serious game, it's for fun.

We get there by bus with the Football and Tennis people. We have to find out which court we play on and who we are going against. When we get there the Senior team plays first. Then the Junior A and B play after the Senior team.

The Seniors have played against Dee Why, Manly Village and Narraweena. We won against Manly Village and lost the other games. The games go for approximately half an hour and we have half time for about 2 minutes.

In Netball you have to play a position that you are good at. The positions in Netball are Centre, Wing Attack, Wing Defence, Goal Attack, Goal Defence, Goal Keeper and Goal Shooter. The people in our team are Sara, Farah, Salome, Andrea, Myfawny, Gaganjot, Hoa, Seiana and Marlene.
