On the 20th of July our Senior Football Team went to a semi-final at Nolan's Reserve, we left school at 12:30 pm.
We played against Manly West. The score was 31-12 with their team wining. Our coach was Les, a coach for a club called North Curl Curl. The captain was Inoke.
The people who played for us were Inoke, Ana, Elliott, Adam, Natasha, Farryl, Matt, Luke, Alvonn, James, Fine, Richard and myself. Yes we do have 2 girls in our team.
Farryl scored his first try of the season, Elliott scored a try and Matt kicked a goal. Everyone was please with the whole team and we did three cheers for our coach Les.
After the game we went back to our school and everyone in the team
had lots of fun!
On Friday the 20th our Senior Football team played Manly West Public School. The score was 31 to 12 with their team winning. Everyone played very well.
This year lots of our guys in our team improved a lot. Some of our
guys never
played football before like Alvonn, Chanon and Farryl.
I'd like to thank Les for couching us throughout the year and thanks
to Joe for
giving up his time to help our football team.
Congratulations to the boys and girls for a good effort throughout
the season.
