Every Friday after school Brookvale Public School‘s Chess Teams play against a different teams from other schools. We have two teams, The champion (seniors) and The Rookies (juniors).
The champions have won 2 lost 1 and drawn 1. The first game we lost 4-0 the next game we won 4-0 the game after that we drew 2-2 and the last game we won 3-1.
The Rookies have not been going very well, they have lost every game that they have played this year because the other teams have played very well against them.
My mum has kindly volunteered with the transport to and from the
games.

So far we have won 2 games, lost one and drawn one. The people in my team are Jeremy, Matthew and Myfawny.
Chess is a complicated game if you are starting but once you get the hang of it, it‘s easy.
There are two chess teams, one is the Champions who are experienced
players and play well, the other one is the Rookies who are beginners and
need experience.

Every school has two teams and our one is called The Champions and the other team is called The Rookies. The Champion are the senior children.
When we go to the other schools we got there by a teacher‘s car or a parent‘s car. When we got there we have some afternoon tea. Then we play some chess.
When we are finished we come to school and go home to our home.
The score so far are The Campion has won 2 time, lost 1 time and
draw 1. The Rookies has try hard but they lost all they game.
