Rose Damaso played basketball, netball, softball and hockey.

She was born in Sydney in 1942 but now she lives in the Northern Territory.

Basketball was the sport in which she was named All-Australian coach.

Rose Damaso was the coach of All-Aboriginal Netball team in 1976, a member of the Darwin football club and was leading hockey goal scorer.

If one of the sports had to be singled out as being her best, it would have been basketball.  She played four sports in Northern Territory, in a career lasting from 1960 to 1984 - 24 years. 

Rose Damaso represented the Northern Territory on 36 occasions in four sports! 

Rose Damaso's career started in 1960 and  she retired in 1984.
