Carmelita Dunn is an Aboriginal netball player.  She has played netball for three years.


Carmelita Dunn was born at Nguiu, Northern Territory in 1954.  She comes from a large family of sport achievers. Dunn's brother Cadji Dunn is a renowned N.T. and W.A.  Aussie Rules footballer.

Dunn, like Rose Damasco played four sports for the Territory:  basketball from 1982-1993, netball from 1976-1979, softball from 1974-1987 and soccer in 1981.  She has also played touch football for Darwin. 

When she was playing basketball, she captained the Rebels, the NT premiership team, and played 350 first grade games in the Darwin Basketball Association League.
