Early Life

* Earle Page was born on the 8th of August 1880 in Grafton, NSW. He is one of the eleven children in his family.
* Earle Page was only fourteen when he was enrolled in an Arts degree.
* He spent two years working as a house surgeon and a pathologist at Sydney's Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
* Earle Page was New South Wales parliamentarian and held the seat of Cowper from 1920 to 1961.
* Page was a surgeon with a medical practise serving a large rural district.
* Earle Page was also the first Australian to have a car.
* Page was the eleventh Prime Minister in Australia.

Achievements in Parliament

* Earle Page was only Prime Minister for only 20 days from 7th of April 1939 to the 20th of 26 of April.
* Earle Page was also Deputy Prime Minister to SM Bruce in 1923 to 1929.
* He was also Deputy Prime Minister to Joseph Lyons in 1934 to 1939.
* He was founder of the Country Party, then page led the party in parliament from 1921 to 1939.
* He was Minister for Health from 1949 to 1956, in the government of Robert Menzies.
