On Thursday afternoon the 4th of June Mrs Howard and three of the class
students attended Warringah Civic Centre to receive our award. There was
a path with plants and rocks surrounding it. We had our photos taken for
the Manly Daily. That was the worst bit because we were on a rock in the
most uncomfortable position and we kept slipping down.
When we went inside we had nametags to wear. There was a model with
lots of houses, cars, tall buildings and trees. We saw photos of Warringah
Shire mayors. We looked at information about how chemicals affect the creeks
and rivers, and how to help the environment stay clean. |
