LOCATION : Dee Why Headland

Plant Height :  Tree, 2-3 metres

Flower Colour : White

Flower Size : 1 centimetre

Leaf Size : 2-3 centimetres.

Leaf Shape : Hard, oval shaped.

Other Information :

The Coastal Tea Tree is common to the Coastal areas of New South Wales, South
Australia and Queensland.

It is called the tea-tree because the leaves will change water to a tea colour. Captain Cook made tea by boiling the leaves of a New Zealand variety on one of his early explorations of the area.
