Flower Colour : Grey/grren on the outside and gradually turns yellow.
Flower Size : Large up to 15 centimetres.
Leaf Size : 3-4 centimetres
Leaf Shape : Toothed leaves like a saw, sharp points and white underneath.
Other Information :
The main part of the tree is twisted, bumpy, broard and can grow up to 10 metres high. The bark is very rough. Birds such as lorrikeets love the taste of the banksia nector. Red Honeysuckle is found in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.
This type of plant was named after Sir Joseph Banks, the Botanist
who sailed with the English explorer Captain Cook. There are more then
50 types of Banksias.
