On Thursday the 14th of December 2000, all of the Year 5 decorated the hall for the Year 6. We had to measure Joseph to make a Boy Captain Witch was Robin and we had to make a Girl Captain Witch was Mataele.
When they came into the hall Robin and Mataele got to cut the rope.
Plenty of food for everyone.

On Thursday the 14th of December 2000, the Year 5 students organized a Farewell Lunch for Year 6 that were leaving our school. We brought food from home. The food smelled delicious. We decorated the hall with streamers, Year 6 photos and balloons. We also prepared soft drinks.
When the Year 6 students were about to come in, we made a tunnel and turned on the music. The lunch started. We gathered our food from the table. Everybody was screaming, talking, dancing and eating. We went around the hall to see if we can help. We also signed their personal books and wrote messages. Some girls were crying because of happiness.
After the lunch Mr Richard made a speech and hand out
the awards. Everybody went out to play after the Farewell Lunch.

On Thursday the 14th of December 2000, the Year 5 students organized a Farewell Lunch for the Year 6 that were leaving. We started by putting up streamers, blowing up heaps of balloons and setting the tables. All of the food that we brought in,, smelt delicious. The hall looked great.
Then all of the Year 6 started to come up to the hall and most of the Year 6 girls were crying and we made a tunnel of people and all of the Year 6 went through it. Then they sat down and Richard said grace. The feast began, it was delicious.
After eating our delicious lunch Mr Richard gave out some awards and wish Year 6 good luck in High School. Year 6 then presented Mr Richard with their gift to the school, a portable colour television & video player.
