The team at their best.
By Jesmin
On the 15th of August on Tuesday all the classes of Brookvale School went to watch the Yo Yo High Performance Team at our school hall.
Paul, Todd and I went to help the YO YO guys set up the hall for their Performance. After we set the hall up Paul and I got a Yo Yo for free.
All the classes came in the hall, they introduced themselves. Their names were Dazzling Dave, Iakona Medeiros and Lee Green. Lee and Iakona were from Honolulu in Hawaii and Dazzling Dave was from San Francisco.
They performed for our school they did all the tricks there were. Then they chose 4 people to come up they were John, Me, Joy and Aarti. We had a competition we all got to keep our YoYos that we were using.
Then they did some more tricks and then had to go to another school. I enjoyed that day with the Yo Yo guys.
Dazzling Dave.
On the 15th of August we had visitors from Hawaii. They were Yo Yo Guys and they were radical. We watched most of the tricks.
There were 2 boys and a man called Dave Conner. I liked Conner's moves. He did the UFO, its when you get the yo yo and spin it around side ways and he didn't have to stop his Yo Yo and rewind, he just kept going and going he never stopped until he messed up when he went under his legs and then it wrecked.
While we were there we had four volunteers and those four all won a Yo Yo - John B, Mitchell, Aarti and Joy. The First move was how to throw the Yo Yo straight and it is supposed to come back. When they all finished we all looked at the people that won a Yo Yo and gave them a clap.
At the end of the show we had Mataele and Robin to say thanks from our whole school.

On the 15th of August the High Performance Yo Yo team came Brookvale Public School to show us tricks.
They showed us all the tricks that they know like the UFO, Walk the Dog, Stop and Go, Loop the Loop, 30 Times, Rocket and Magic.
We were all happy and exited because of the amazing tricks. At the end of the show they told us about learning Yo Yo tricks and that they will perform in front of a shop at Warriewood Square called Toy World.
I hope they will come again.
