On Wednesday 16th of February the whole school had a Special Lunch & Mufti Day to raise money for Year 4/5/6 Adventure Camp. 5/6T had to provide the cakes. A Mufti DAy is when you don't have to wear your uniform, you can wear play clothes.
After we collected the money we counted it, organised any change that was needed, added up our costs and worked out how much profit we made. We made $350.00 profit.
The day was great! We had to help prepare the food and serve the kids! The cakes were yum! I had one with strawberry cream!
At lunch we had a hot dog, a drink & a piece of fruit. I had
a great day!
On Wednesday the 16th of February, Brookvale School had Special Lunch Day. In the morning some girls went to the staffroom to cut the cakes for recess, there were lots of lovely cakes, I brought a lemon cake the one I liked a strawberry cake.
Just before recess Year 6 set the tables up & the drinks. Just as they finished the Kindy‘s came up and then all the other classes, it was quite a long queue .
Before lunch Mr Taylor set up the BBQ, sausages and drinks. Danielle, Mrs McGrath, Mrs Milner & I cut up the watermelon - well Danielle and I put them in the trays. A while later we had our lunch it was great.
After lunch we walked around the playground picking up rubbish, packed everything away and washed up.
We had a great day with lots of food.
