Brookvale Public School

On the 18th of August we had our raffle drawn. Two prefects were chosen to help Mr. Taylor draw the raffle. It was Sussan and Vanessa. We sold over 2,000 tickets. We raised a lot of money for our trip to Canberra. Lots of people from the school helped us sell the tickets.

I won a Sydney Swans signed jumper. There were lots of prizes like stuffed toys, bottle of wine, car repairs and restaurant meals. We raised $1,600 for the excursion to Canberra.

There was a kid from our school who sold 12 booklets. and they are $1.00 each so he raised $120.00 There was another kid who raised the 2nd most 10 booklets $100.00.

Thanks for helping us get to Canberra.
