On Friday the 15th the whole school went to Dee Why beach for a school picnic .

When we got there we put on our swimmers and then had little lunch. Finally we were aloud to play in the sand. Most of the girls and some of the boys made a huge hole.

Then Miss Grey said we were aloud to go for a swim. My class and I were so excited we all ran as fast as we could to the pool. When everybody  was in the pool we started to play. It was fun in the pool.

After everybody had a swim we had lunch. After lunch we had another very short swim. Then we had to go back to school. I had a great day.

On the 15th of December our school went on a school picnic to Dee Why beach. It was hot but cloudy and almost rained  but it didn't stop us from swimming.

When we arrived we had recess when recess was over we played on the beach and the grass.

Then later on one of the classes went to the pool and had a swim it was nice and cool. When they finished another class went and had a swim and so on.

When we all had a turn of  of swimming we had lunch some people brought  some money and brought chips and cans of drink from Mr Taylor and some people just brought there own lunch.

We finished our lunch and went and had another swim after our swim  all  the money we  had left was given to Anne Marie who  brought us three trays of hot chips from across the road. We had a great day.

On the 15th of December 2000, Brookvale Public School went on a school picnic to Dee Why, beach. when we got there we played in the sand, while another class went for a bit of a swim.

When it was our turn to swim, we had tones of fun like we had to knock the other person down back into the water. when we got out we had lunch, and then we played in the sand again.

After a while 4/5N my class, asked for a teacher to go and get Hot chips for us if we pay for it. then we went for a short swim and then we went back to school.

On the 15th of December, the whole school went to Dee Why Beach for our end of year school picnic. When we got there, we put our bags under the shade and we were building tunnels and castles on the beach.

After that, I went back to my bag for a rest and then Ms Mac asked "Tony do you want to be a Shopkeeper while year 6 go for a swim?".

I said "OK". The chips were 50c per packet and 1$ per can of drink. Then Norman came and said, "can I help you?" asked Norman,

I said "yes".

So the whole day Norman and I were being Shopkeppers, it was pretty fun. The drinks were going out so fast that we needed to get lots of more drinks, but the chips were out so slow.

For lunch, we had some chips. A couple of hours later, we went back to school. When we got back we went home.
