On the 26th of July, we had an Optometrist Visit. Gary Robson was the Optometrist. He checks peoples eyes every time.
Year 1 was the first class to get their eyes checked then children from other classes. Mr. Robson set up his clinic in the I.T. Centre. Mr. Taylor sent Year 6 students to the classrooms to bring the students down to get their eyes checked.
I got my eyes checked too. I thought it was scary but it was fun. It was really good because its good to get our eyes checked so kids will learn much better and can see easier.

On the 25th of July Mr. Gary Robson an optometrist came to visit our school. He checked kids eyes from Year 1 to Year 6.
He went to the I.T.. Centre to do his work. First he got a metallic stick with a ball at the end we followed it with our eyes up, down, right and left. Then they covered their right eye, he pointed to a chart of letters in the other side of the room. He also did a another couple of tests.
After that they all went back to class. some of the kids that went got a special note because they might need glasses.
It is very helpful for the parents and kids
when the optometrist visits.
