On Thursday 11th May, Nick Kosef a famous footballer came to Brookvale Public School for Mandarin Day. It was to encourage to like eating fruit.
We played and had competitions and whoever came first in peeling the Mandy first got a prize. They got a bag with about 5 mandarins in them.
After the competitions we had lunch and Nick was signing autographs on kids hats and stickers then he went and waved good bye.

Brookvale school had a day called Mandarin Day. Lots of competitions were held. Some of the competitions were messy and some weren't.
One competition was who could peel a mandarin the fastest or who could eat one the fastest, one was even who could eat one the messiest!
All in all it was a fun day but I didn't go into any competitions or my mum would scream blue murder.
