Kindy Farm

Kindy feeding the lambs

By Bridget

Today we went and saw a farm. We saw the cows, piglets, chickens, rabbits, goats and sheep.

My favourite part was when then lady sheared the wool off and gave us some of it to me and the whole class.

Patting a Rabbit

On Friday the 3rd of November a farm came to our school. The farmers name was Lisa. She brought her animals out, she had a piglet, goats and sheep. I liked Henry the piglet.

I think the Kindy Farm is great because we got to learn about animals.

On Friday 3rd of November 1/2K and S.C.L. visited a Kindy Farm  at School. The Farmer was Lisa she told us to sit on a mat then she told us to line up in two lines to feed Lucy the calf. After we fed the calf then we went back into school.

On Friday the 3rd of November 2/3M, K/P, 1/2K and SCL went to the Kindy Farm that came to the school. We learnt what to do when you cannot find the animals. You just call them back. Then we got to hold the baby chicks. The colour of 8 chicks were black and the rest were white.

Then we got to feed the animals. There were all kinds of baby animals like sheep, goats, ducks, a cow and little baby chicks. My favourite animal was lucy the little baby calf (a baby cow).

Look at the baby chicks.
