On Wednesday the 31st of May the Terry Hills Bush Fire Brigade came to our school, the firemen's names were Pete and Scott and they were volunteers that do not get paid for there hard work.
When our class went, the fire fighters told us some good things to do if your house was on fire like if your caught in fire you have to get down low and go go go! Never play with matches. If there is a fire somewhere call 000 and say that you want (the fire station) and always hang up after they do.
After that we got to see a water cannon which was a really really big squirt of water coming out of the water tank and it was really exciting. Then we got to listen to the alarm and ask questions.
Everybody had lots of fun.

Today we had a visit from the Fire Brigade at 11:30am. They showed us lots of things. We saw two men they put on a yellow coat inside the coat was fireproof which would not burn. Inside the coat the colour is red.
He told us how to go away from the fire. He showed us the water cannon, it came out of the tank. He said if some houses are on the fire you must be downstairs if is fire in your house you run out straight away out the door. If you're not downstairs you have to go in your room. When the firemen come he can find you in the room, it is good for you.
