Everyone enjoys using Lego.

During the third week of August, it was Education Week in all NSW schools. On Thursday the 24th of August after recess at Brookvale Public School had its Open Day, some of the kids parents came to our school to look at their children's work.

In classes some kids showed their parents show them what we do at school and other kids were doing their Lego. I made a car you put the motor in the Lego stick and you put the battery so the car can run.

Mums, dads & children eating lunch.

After the children took the parents down to the Library. Lots of people bought a book as a donation to the Library. At lunch we had a sausage sizzle and parents talked or watched their children play football, handball and tip.

After lunch the parents went home  we had Scripture and Assembly at 2:30pm. The assembly was run by Robin and Mataele our School Captains. The children from other classes read their reports.

The sausage sizzle was a huge success!
