Brookvale Public School

On Friday the 17th of November, our school had a Disco and it was a called 'Farewell Year 6'. Year Six got to be the DJ's.

The disco started at 6:30 pm and it finished at 8:00 pm.  When heaps of people were there, Mr Taylor called the Year 6 kids to go and help him. Finally the disco started and everyone could go in.

The first song that we put on was Come On Over and it was sang by Christina Aguilera. When we put on the other song, all of us got up and danced and the music was rocking the house. On the stage, some kids were doing Break Dancing like myself, Vincent, Jarrod and Jesmin.

After we put on about three songs, we had a Limbo Competition and Jarrod, Jenny and Matilda won it. Our next Competition was the Stop Dance, when we turned the music off  all the children had to freeze or else they will get out if there still dancing. The prizes were lollipops.

Finally we had the last two songs which was Come On Over and Mary Mary. After we listened to it. We all had a great time at the disco and it was good.

We raised more than $230 for our Year 6 gift to the school which is a portable TV and video player.

Last Friday on the 17th of November, Brookvale Public School had a School Disco.  The Disco started at 6:30 and finished and at 8:00 pm.  We called it Farewell Year Six' and I'm one of them.

At the Disco we lot's of fun.  So far this year we've had a few School Discos and Special Lunch Days.  I like School dances better.  That's because it goes longer then the Lunch days.  Also at the disco we had a few people D.J. at the Disco.

The Disco was so much fun I wish there was another Disco for our School.  The good thing about Discos are the songs and the big speakers we have at our School.  Our School is very lucky to have Discos some Schools do not have School Discos.

At the end of the disco all the Year Sixes had to clean up all the mess.  Thanks to some of the parents they were there to help us to clean up the mess if they weren't there we wouldn't have finish in time.

On Friday we had a Disco, it started at 6:30pm and finished at 8:00pm. I came at 6:00pm to help set up the hall.  There was no one there I was looking around and I saw some parents at the wet weather shed having a barbeque they were cooking sausages, steak and kebabs on sticks. My freinds came we all asked the parents if we could  have a sausage, they said yes so we all had one.

Then our teacher came Mr Taylor opened the hall and we had to set the tables for the DJ and another table for the people who were serving kids drinks and chips. Other kids came and helped to blow up the balloons. Then the hall was all set when Luke arrived he set up the sound system.

The disco was ready on time when everyone came. They all brought some CD's like Destinys Child, Aqua, Pink, 100% hits and Abba for the parents. We had some competitions for lolly pops. We played Freeze like when the song stopped and the Limbo.

When the disco finished everyone whent home and the Year 6's had to stay to clean up the hall.

On Friday 17th of November we had a disco for Year 6. The disco started at 6:30pm and finished at 8:00pm. When I got there everyone was outside until the teacher told us to come inside. When we got inside me and a few of my friendswere being the D.J.

There were lots of songs like Destiney's Child, Pink, Mary Mary, an albumcalled 100%, Jennefer Lopez, Britney Spears, Will Smith, Cristiner, Abba and more.
