On the 7th of December our school had a Book Presentation Assembly. Kindy to Year 6 got books, but not all the kids got one. The only kids that got one are the only kids that read about 100 books or more. There were awards too. There were Peer Support awards, Italian awards, Tongan awards, Sport awards and many more things.
First there was a lady called Melanie, she is a Librarian at the new Library at Warringah Mall. She read us a book.
After Melanie read the book, every teacher to each class went up to the stage and gave out the books that the kids received. Melanie was the one that handed the books out and shook our hands and the each teacher called out the names.
Before the other awards were given out, the Kindergarten and Year 1 went because they wouldn't get an award.
The Italian awards were given out with Signora Raffaele, the Peer Support awards were given out with Mrs. Nielson, the Sport awards were given out with Ms. Mead and the Tongan awards were given out with Mrs. Thomas.
It was a nice day and there were lots of people that received awards and books. We all had a nice fun day.

This term our school had a special assembly for the children who achieved their 100 Reading Club from the Home Reading Scheme, and they get a prize which was a book.
After lunch all the children went up to the hall at 2.00pm. First we sang the School Song and said the Prayer. There was a special guest from the new Warringah Library in the Mall who came to our school to present the books, her name was Melanie. The teacher from each class had to come up to the stage and call out the students' name and pass the book prize to Melanie to give to the students. I got a book called 'Mr Kazt's Amazing Cream'.
After that was the LOTE awards that given out with Signora and Mrs. Thomas, Peer Support certificates and the sport certificates. There was also a Angel Of The Year which awarded to Jing-Ya from 4/5G.
All the kids were so glad that they got the book prize and the 250 clubs are going a medallion on the Presentation Assembly on Tuesday night.
We all had a great time.
